De Nijverheidstentoonstelling van 1820 in Gent [28 p.]
Author Abstract The article describes the medals struck on the occasion of the first national industrial exhibition held in the Low Countries in 1820 at Ghent, i.e. the one for the winners in the different sections of the exhibition, as well as those awarded during accompanying events such as sport tournaments and music competitions; the latter medals are, for the most part, only known from written sources, but have not (yet) resurfaced.
