Who are we ?

MEETINGS

Our Society holds meetings with lectures, in principe every third Saturday of the month, in the Royal Library in Brussels (Boulevard de l’Empereur 4, entry Mont-des-Arts). Exceptions are :

the months of April and July till September, when no meetings are held
the month of March, when we hold our General Assembly on the second instead of the third Saturday, at the Royal Library in Brussels
the month of June, when we hold a general assembly in a provincial town, alternating in Flanders and Wallonia

PRIZES

Our Society also organizes a quadrennial prize to honour an original and unpublished scientific study in the field of numismatics or sigillography. The next prize will be awarded in 2022, and its value amounts to € 2.000. Click here if you want to consult the conditions for participating.

Our Society also organizes a triennial prize 'Hubertus Goltzius' to honour an original and unpublished scientific study in the field of numismatics of our regions, from the 5th to the 21st century.
